Dr Michael Dooley

Michael qualified from Guys Hospital in 1991. He worked in Practice in Kent before moving to Frinton in 1993. He has recently undertaken the year long PG Cert in Implantology Course at Cambridge and also completed Somnowell training to provide effective treatments for snoring and sleep apnoea. He is a keen family man and also supports the local Rotary Club and is a Past President. His other hobbies include reading and golf.

Dr Suki Jaswal

Associate Dental Surgeon
BDS (University of London)

Dr Iredale Jaswal qualified from Kings College London in 2012. After qualifying she worked as a senior house officer for a year in hospital before becoming a dental associate. She joined the Old Library Dental and Implant Centre in 2016.

Suki has undertaken many post graduate courses and keeps up to date with all aspects of modern dentistry. As well as general dental treatment, she carries out facial aesthetics at the practice that includes Botox antiwrinkle treatments and dermal fillers. She also offers additional medical applications of Botox for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and TMJD (overactive jaw muscles).

At the moment she offers cosmetic adult orthodontics using Invsalign Clear Aligners but is in further training to provide fixed appliances using 6 Month Smiles later this Summer. She is also undertaking further courses in facial aesthetics such as the injection of skin boosters such as Profhilo.

Suki enjoys the overall approach of general practice; providing good quality dental care in a relaxed environment, encompassing all aspects of treatment including preventive, restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr Pedram Hejazefar

Associate Dental Surgeon

Pedram graduated from the renowned Dental University of Gothenburg (Sweden) in 2005. He enjoys carrying all aspects of dentistry with a special interest in smile design. His passion for dentistry has led to a heavy investment in postgraduate training, which has taken him to a variety of international destinations such as America and Europe, and he continues to pursue dental excellence through a real commitment to continual professional development and training.

In 2015 he obtained a MSc degree (with distinction) specialising in minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry, providing more treatment options for his patients. He also obtained a Certificate in Dental implantology after having completed a year course programme with the University of Cambridge and a week of extensive surgical training in Central America.

Pedram is a member of a number of associations including the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) which allows him to remain in the forefront of minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry.

Mr Andrew Bowes

Andy spent 22 years in the army before leaving in 2009. He qualified at the Defence Dental Services Training Establishment in 1999. Since qualification Andy has worked within the armed forces in locations as far as Nepal. He has also worked in general practice and for The Royal Surrey County Hospital PCT and postgraduate centre.

Andy holds the certificate in Oral Health Education, BETEC in diet and nutrition, certificate in Dental Radiography, he is a qualified teacher having been a DH tutor for 7 Years and finally becoming senior tutor in 2006 at the DDSTE. He enjoys a challenge of treating nervous and advanced periodontally compromised patients in particular.

Dr Olu Aroloye

Dentist
BDS (Lagos), MPH (Sheffield)

Olu qualified in 2005 and has worked in a variety of roles within Dentistry. His many years of experience have enabled him to have a good knowledge of all aspects of the Dental patient care pathway. Olu aims to provide a calm and gentle clinical experience, and ensures he takes the time to explain all treatment options to his patients in a friendly and relaxed environment. He is a strong believer in preventative and minimally invasive dentistry. His friendly yet professional approach helps put all his patients at ease. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his young family, is a keen sports fan and participates in activities at his local church.

Michelle also loves travelling to the Isle of Wight.

Debbie is one of our receptionists at The Old Library, she previously worked in a local GP surgery as a receptionist. She enjoyed being one on one with patients and is looking forward to working at a dental setting and learning new terminology. Debbie has lived locally with her family for over 20 years. Loves travelling and learning new cultures as well as live music and the theatre.

I came to old library dentist with a large gap between my front teeth and wanted some advice. Pedram was fantastic and advised getting 6 porcelain veneers which I did and I cannot believe the difference it has made to my looks and confidence. The whole experience including the reception staff and dental nurse was amazing they are all so friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this dentist. I visited for the first time yesterday and was very happy with everything. Sharman on reception was very helpful and put me at ease. I am a very nervous patient as I’ve had bad dentists in the past, but when I met Dr Pedram Hejazefar he was so professional, friendly and caring and made me feel reassured. He is an asset to the Old Library Dental Surgery and I highly recommend him, especially if you are dentally phobic like me. I am booked to see the Hygienist next week and I’m not so nervous now. Not being a fan of dentists, i approached The Old Library surgery for implants. My experience with them was all good. I have quite a lot of work done and i did not feel a thing. NO pain during or after the treatment. I had a plan drew. I knew what i was paying beforehand and what work needed doing. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely receptionist and the dentist and his assistant were marvellous. I felt assured with them and they always made me feel welcome and at ease. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you all.
